The Future of Aashraya
Aashraya has a two-pronged organization for its future plans, one that is more immediate and concrete, and one that is more abstract and long-term. At the core of Aashraya's future programming is a cycle of entrepreneurship and social action, which grow and feed into the growth of one another.
Immediate Future Plans
Internship projects based in Nepal for students studying abroad
Aashraya already maintains a network and an online database of all the Nepalese students studying in some of the top colleges and universities in USA and abroad. Aashraya will coordinate a summer internship program, through which the member companies can recruit/ hire/offer internships to the students studying in some of the best universities of the world, who will in turn, help the companies setup new innovative business schemes, competent management and new fangled technological ventures.
Aashraya Consulting Firm
Aashraya will incorporate a panel of experts, strategists and researchers, which will provide the member companies individual advice regarding efficient business solutions and suggestions and plans for business growth.
The business sector is now seeing an increasing number of new trends and with these new trends come new innovative ways of conducting business. With new opportunities and requirements at every turn, marketing and technical consultants are increasingly becoming more important.
Long Term Future Plans
Long term future plans for Aashraya focus on growth of the entrepreneurial side, as well as the social side of Aashraya. Expansion of Aashraya into new business ventures of various sorts will provide greater and greater profit, all of which can be devoted to Aashraya social projects. As social projects grow in future years, Aashraya can provide jobs to students who have been trained and educated through the Aashraya system. This job extension adds a key component to the commitment of Aashraya to long-term social care. Because individuals can look forward to potential employment opportunities, individuals will have more short-term incentive to invest both in education and skill-building experiences with Aashraya. This cycle of both training and educating young people, and then having these young people move into positions of training and education of others will build confidence in the business and the social services of Aashraya, adding incentive for community members to invest in Aashraya's business, and for Aashraya's students to continue to invest in Aashraya's provided opportunities.
